Guess what I found at Woolworth's the other day? Yes, Woolworths! Chateau Blanc Macarons!! Looks like the macaron craze is getting bigger. Chateau Blanc Macarons are sold in Starbucks and really they're quite nice. It comes in a 12 pack with two of each flavour. They are only mini macarons and sold at AUD$8.98 a pack.
However, they are found in the fridge section which made me have some doubts but I wanted macarons and I got them! The six flavours are Cafe, Pistache, Framboise, Chocolat, Vanille and Citron. I must say my favourites were Pistache and Citron.
They are obviously not as fresh and a bit chewy but it's still a nice sweet treat readily available at a reasonable price! Enjoy!!
